His feeble attempt at making history prompted WWE superstar Logan Paul to text the fat cats in Stamford about a possible in-ring showdown after McGregor recovers from knee surgery. UFC and WWE both operate under TKO Group Holdings. “I’ll be honest with you, I texted my boss after Conor lost,” Paul said on his podcast. “I was like, ‘Bro, Conor’s cooked. Like, do something with him. Make a bag, let me fight him.‘ Big WWE star vs. big WWE star, because that’s what he is now. Conor is doing WWE because he’s incapable of fighting. He has a lot of people fooled. And he fooled everyone before this fight. Just like Mike Tyson fooled everyone before he fought my brother, Jake Paul. Like, age matters.” Someone should tell Paul what McGregor really thinks about WWE. McGregor, now 38, still has one fight remaining on his UFC contract and probably won’t find his way back into the Octagon until late 2027, if he finds his way back at all. In addition, “Notorious” still dreams of competing in bare knuckle boxing at BKFC, the company he partially owns with David Feldman. Let’s just hope McGregor can stay out of trouble between now and then.
