(Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC) With the UFC Paris early (and official) weigh ins already in the books, and all 28 fighters making their respective marks without incident (get full results here), the cast and crew of this weekend’s (Sat., Sept. 5, 2026) Dan Hooker vs. Salahdine Parnasse-led mixed martial arts (MMA) event will head to Accor Arena for the promotion’s ceremonial weigh ins festivities, streaming LIVE at 12 p.m. ET in the embedded video above. “Everyone gets mad flagrant when you get a couple of losses,” Hooker told UFC.com. “The missus will shoulder charge past you in the kitchen. They see you take a couple Ls to the best fighters in the world and people get real bold; they get real brave! I was chatting with my mum and said I was feeling really good and she was like, ‘You said that last time, mate.’ You forget what being a loser is like — everyone giving you shit and life being so much more difficult, doors closing, and I’m like, ‘Naw naw naw naw naw!’ Everything sucks when you lose, so I’m like, I’ve had enough of it, it’s time to turn it around.” Sounds like Parnasse will be ready. “Dan Hooker is very strong, very experienced, and that’s why he’s at the top in the UFC,” Parnasse told UFC.com. “I think he’s a big challenge and I love this challenge. I think he’s a very explosive guy — he likes to do a lot in his fights — and I think with me, it’s a perfect fight because we’re both two guys that like to go in there and put on a show in the cage. I think it’s important to have experience and maturity to come in here. I’ve had 25 fights outside [UFC], and I think that’s really important to be able to understand your opponents, be able to understand the game and to come in here.
