Stock market holidays in October 2026 from NSE calendar - Open and closed days full list other than Saturdays, Sundays

The Indian stock market will close on October 2 for Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, leading to reduced trading. Other holidays include Dussehra on October 20 and Diwali on November 10. Trading in commodities will also halt on these days, with Muhurat Trading scheduled for November 8.
