Andy Burnham has responded to Danny Dyer after the Rivals star had some choice words for the prime minister. Over the weekend, the former EastEnders actor was asked for his thoughts on the PM while making an appearance at a protest calling for public ownership of the water industry, in light ofthe recent increases in sewage pollution. “I don’t know who the prime minister is, mate. Is he the father-in-law of a West Ham player?” Dyer is, indeed, the “father-in-law of a West Ham player”, as his daughter, the similarly-named Dani Dyer, tied the knot with footballer Jarrod Bowen last year.
