Ryan Gandra may have the touch of death as the middleweight fighter earned another first-round stoppage earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 19, 2026) at UFC 331 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Calif., putting a brutal stop to unsuspecting opponent Osman Diaz. Gandra, who entered UFC 331 as a sizeable betting favorite, had turned in two-straight first-round stoppages to begin his UFC career. In fact, Gandra’s total Octagon time ahead of this weekend was less than two minutes. Most thought Gandra was going to handle business yet again against Diaz, but you never know what will happen when the cage door shuts and the heavy fists start flying. While this fight lasted just a little more than two minutes it was still a smashing success for Gandra. It took Gandra some time to find his range, but once he let his hands go Diaz stood no chance. Shot after shot landed as Diaz melted along the cage. Gandra unleashed a few vicious left hands from top control and quickly forced the referee’s hand. It really wasn’t much of a fight.
