Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced the upcoming UFC Belgrade mixed martial arts (MMA) event for Sat., Aug. 1, 2026 at Belgrade Arena in Serbia. The Paramount+ fight card (see it here) will be headlined by the welterweight showdown pitting Uros Medic against Daniel Rodriguez (more on that here). Now they have an official poster. That includes his destruction of Geoff Neal at UFC Houston just a few months back, one that earned “The Doctor” a $100,000 performance bonus — and a spot in the UFC welterweight rankings. As for Rodriguez (20-5), he’s also on a three-fight win streak but hasn’t competed since a slippery July 2025 victory over Kevin Holland. That’s because “D-Rod” recently spent several months in a Mexican prison, which he attributes to crossing the border with a joint in his vehicle.
