Early release prisoners ‘handed tents’ as probation service ‘runs out of housing & puts freed lags onto streets’

EARLY release prisoners are being “handed tents” after the probation service “ran out of housing”, according to reports. One probation office has given 100 tents to homeless lags leaving prison over the past year, but its supplies have reportedly run dry - forcing freed convicts onto the streets.
