(Photo by Andrei Pungovschi/Getty Images) | Getty Images Social media influencer and failed Misfits boxer Andrew Tate, 39, was indicted by Romanian prosecutors earlier this week for trafficking minors, money laundering, and sex with a minor, among other crimes. His brother Tristan, 38, was also indicted on counts of complicity and seeking to pervert the course of justice. “We will examine every aspect of it with the same level of scrutiny and we will challenge any evidential, procedural or legal deficiencies through the appropriate judicial process,” Eugen Constantin Vidineac, Romanian lawyer for Andrew and Tristan Tate, told Newsweek. “Our clients continue to reject the allegations against them. They have the right to the presumption of innocence, the right to properly examine the evidence relied upon against them and the right to mount an effective defense.” The elder Tate is accused of using physical violence and mental intimidation to sexually exploit a 15-year-old victim, forcing her to produce pornographic content for social media sites that returned in excess of $1.25 million. The Tate brothers remain in custody following their Miami arrests back in July. A date for their extradition hearing has yet to be revealed.
