Poundland ‘prepares for administration’ in ‘wholly avoidable’ move – putting hundreds of stores at risk of closure

POUNDLAND directors are set to file a notice to appoint administrators, placing 12,000 jobs at risk. The court filing would trigger a 10 day moratorium which would automatically prevents creditors from calling in their debts, The Telegraph has reported.
