A massive brawl has erupted at ADCC 2026, involving Dorian Olivarez and his famous teammate and coach, Gordon Ryan. One of the 66 kg tournament favorites in Olivarez finished Bezkat Kapashov in the opening round of a Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) match that was extra chippy and physical. Tensions flared immediately after the submission, with a pretty large Kazakh team contingent confronting Olivarez and his cornermen. Things quickly escalated to a pretty sizable brawl involving Ryan, Olivarez and the Kapashov’s entire team. Ryan was eventually seen on the ground and taking punches while going against three men in a chaotic scene. Fortunately, no one seemed to have been seriously hurt. Olivarez will be able to continue onto the next round. Ryan was seen throwing a thumbs up towards officials as he just immediately went back to his chair on the next mat, as one of his many teammates on the card was still competing.
