“The Juggernaut” keeps claiming titles. Two-time Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) Light Heavyweight champion Lorenzo Hunt made history this past weekend, becoming the first three-division champion in BKFC history at BKFC 91 on Sat., July 18, 2026, inside Arena Flegrea in Naples, Italy. Hunt knocked out Walter Pugliesi to capture the inaugural BKFC Ironweight championship, but the historic win did not come easy. Pugliesi dropped Hunt in the first round with a left hook and badly outworked the longtime BKFC veteran early. Hunt landed just two punches in the opening frame, while Pugliesi poured on offense and appeared to have “The Juggernaut” in real trouble. However, Pugliesi may have emptied the gas tank trying to finish him. After the fast start, Pugliesi slowed down dramatically in the second and third rounds, which allowed Hunt to work his way back into the fight. The momentum continued to shift, and by Round 4, Hunt was starting to take over. Hunt scored his first knockdown of the fight after attacking the body, forcing Pugliesi to take a knee. Moments later, the referee warned Pugliesi not to take another knee or he would lose a point. Hunt did not give him much of a choice. “The Juggernaut” unleashed a barrage of uppercuts that sent Pugliesi down to his knees again, and this time, the Italian could not continue. Pugliesi was pouring blood from his nose, and the referee had seen enough. He has now held the Cruiserweight title, Light Heavyweight title and brand-new Ironweight title, making him the first fighter in promotional history to become a three-division champion. Hunt also owns the most title-fight victories in BKFC history and the most knockouts in promotional history with 11. “The Juggernaut” is now riding a three-fight win streak since suffering a nasty arm dislocation, and his latest victory might be his most important yet. As for Pugliesi, he suffered his first loss inside the BKFC ring and had his two-fight win streak snapped. He had Hunt hurt early but “The Juggernaut” survived, adjusted and made history.
