ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - JANUARY 20: Mike Davis prepares to fight Mason Jones in a lightweight fight during the UFC Fight Night event at Etihad Arena on UFC Fight Island on January 20, 2021 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. (Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) Mike Davis is not happy following his unanimous decision loss to wrestler Nurullo Aliev earlier today (Sat., July 25, 2026) at UFC Abu Dhabi and he’s letting the promotion know all about it. Saturday’s “Prelims” fight opposite Aliev was always going to be a tough task for Davis. That’s because Aliev brought an undefeated pro record of 11-0 into this weekend and possesses the grappling skills to ground almost any lightweight in the world. Davis was hoping his own wrestling base and knockout ability could even the playing field and be enough to hand Aliev his first loss. Unfortunately for Davis, Aliev’s wrestling, grappling, and top pressure couldn’t be stopped. It certainly wasn’t the most exciting way to win a fight, but Aliev was able to implement his own game plan from the opening bell and basically rode his way to a decision win. Davis, who has now dropped two out of his last three trips to the Octagon, was not happy to lose in the fashion that he did. The lightweight veteran has had some ups and downs as a member of the UFC roster, but he’s never been controlled like way he was on Saturday. It left Davis very frustrated and he eventually took things out on UFC matchmakers, wrestlers, and any fighter on the UFC roster that isn’t looking to throw down. “[UFC] I thought you were cutting wrestlers bro, all they do is suck d—k for 15 minutes,” said Davis during an Instagram video post. “What are we doing? This is gay bro. “Gay people in the UFC, get them the f—k out of here. Stand with me, I just want to bang bro.” Check out the official reaction video below and let us know what you think about Davis’ post-fight comments! I thought we were cutting these guys. “You guys gave me sh-t for the Fares Ziam fight even tho I was actively grappling and advancing. Making it an exciting fight. “Now I’m on the prelims of every card after being on a 4 fight win streak against actual fighters. Why am I treated like sh-t? “This guy did NOTHING. ZERO DAMAGE. ZERO PASSING. ZERO STRIKING. “I LOST FAIR AND SQUARE. I accept that I lost.” For complete UFC Abu Dhabi results, coverage, and highlights click HERE.
