(Photo by Chris Unger/Zuffa LLC) Featherweight violence is headed to “Sin City.” MMAmania.com confirmed with multiple sources today (Tues., Sept. 8, 2026) that undefeated Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight prospect Murtazali Magomedov will collide with Brazil’s Jose Delano at UFC Vegas 124 on Sat., Nov. 7, 2026, inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. Magomedov (11-0) turned heads in his UFC debut when he submitted Melsik Baghdasaryan in just 77 seconds, pulling off only the fourth twister in promotional history — and the first Scottish twister variation ever completed inside the Octagon (watch highlights). Before that memorable debut, Magomedov earned his UFC contract during Season 9 of Contender Series by knocking out Brahyam Zurcher in less than two minutes. The 27-year-old Kyrgyzstani prospect remains perfect through 11 professional fights and owns a ridiculous 100 percent finishing rate, with six submissions and five knockouts. Delano (17-3) also secured his UFC contract during Season 9 of Contender Series, defeating Manuel Exposito via dominant unanimous decision. He followed that performance with another impressive decision victory over former KSW interim champion Robert Ruchala in his promotional debut. The 29-year-old is a former Shooto Brazil Featherweight champion and has finished nine of his 17 professional victories, recording five submissions and four knockouts. Delano may not possess Magomedov’s perfect record or flawless finishing rate, but he is easily the undefeated prospect’s most experienced opponent to date. With 20 professional fights and consecutive victories over UFC-level competition, the Brazilian represents a legitimate step up for Magomedov. UFC Vegas 124 is headlined by a pivotal Welterweight clash between Sean Brady and Gabriel Bonfim. Outside of the main event and this newly added Featherweight matchup, only two other fights have been announced: Karine Silva vs. Gabriella Fernandes and Davey Grant vs. Elijah Smith.
