Shankar Baba Papalkar's name appears as the father’s name on the Aadhaar cards of 123 children

Social worker Shankar Baba Papalkar dedicated decades to orphaned, destitute and Divyang children, giving 123 of them his name, education and a home. From transforming barren land into a green campus to helping residents become self-reliant, his journey earned him the Padma Shri in 2024.
