His music features in the Marathi psychological thriller 'Gondhal', which has been selected as India’s official entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the 99th Academy Awards. Directed by Santosh Davakhar, the film marks the first Ilaiyaraaja-scored movie chosen as India’s Oscar entry.
