Dana White was forced to jump into action earlier today (Sat., July 18, 2026) at Fanatics Fest 2026 as boxers Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn nearly came to blows on stage. In case you missed it, Garcia vs. Benn was announced earlier this week to take place on Sept. 12 from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will serve as a tribute to a Mexican Independence weekend that is typically reserved for UFC Noche, which will presumably be pushed back. While this is not an official Zuffa Boxing bout that doesn’t mean White won’t be promoting this fight. Benn is signed to Zuffa Boxing and despite his differences with Golden Boy Promotions, who manages Garcia, White is digging his heels in and running the show. This was apparent on Saturday when the UFC CEO joined Garcia and Benn on stage for a press conference. Unfortunately for White, things didn’t go exactly as planned. Garcia and Benn don’t really like one another so once the microphones went hot the insults started flying. That eventually boiled over and the two boxers got up out of their seats to fight on stage. They squared off, but White was right there to break the action up and settle things down.
