Priyadarshan's crime thriller 'Haiwaan' features Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in new roles. Akshay Kumar himself suggested playing the antagonist, which surprised the director initially. Saif Ali Khan also found the casting news hard to believe, wanting to hear it directly. Other actors had previously rejected the villain's role before Akshay accepted it. The film, a remake of 'Oppam', is set to release on September 11, 2026.
