In case you missed it, the controversial Tate brothers were raided right before the combat sports event on July 18. They were taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service on a sealed warrant, as U.K. police seek their extradition on a combined total of 59 charges related to allegations of rape, sex trafficking, and indecent images of a child. Unfortunately for the Tate brothers, things have not been easy over the past two weeks as they continue to be held in secure housing at federal detention in Miami. According to their lawyer, Joe McBride, the charges being described have “put a target on their back for them to get stabbed, jumped, or murdered.” “Every time somebody walks by their cell they get called a word that starts with a ‘P’ that’s more appropriate to (Jeffrey) Epstein and not appropriate to them,” said McBride earlier this week (via New York Post). “There’s a pecking order in jail, it’s very real, and when you come in with those allegations, there’s no excuses.” Per McBride, the allegations of “child sex claims” against the Tate brothers have made them ”fair game” on the inside and he also believes the public is “greenlighting for them to get murdered in jail.” “These allegations against them are the worst for a multitude of reasons, it’s one of the reasons why they’re in solitary,” McBride added. “We hope to get them out.”
