Jon Small, Director and Early Billy Joel Collaborator, Dies at 79

They were in two bands together before Mr. Joel became famous, and briefly fell out over Mr. Joel’s affair with Mr. Small’s wife. Mr. Small later found success as a director of music videos and concert films.
