New £54k sculpture dubbed ‘rusty metal with head on top’ blasted as ‘giant waste of taxpayer money’ in UK seaside town

LOCALS are outraged after a council splashed £54k of taxpayers’ money on an “eyesore” clifftop sculpture made of “rusty metal”. The hunk of metal, erected by Bournemouth's Lib Dem Council, was supposedly installed to "reflect the town's seaside identity".
