A Norfolk field, untouched for more than ten years, has flourished into a vibrant wildflower meadow, attracting an array of local rare plants and countless wild orchids without any human intervention. Over an eleven-year study, it was noted that the number of plant species per plot almost doubled. Researchers speculate that deer played a role in dispersing seeds, highlighting the potential of natural recovery for meadow restoration.
