Juliana Miller saved her UFC career earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 8, 2026) at UFC Vegas 120 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside the revamped Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the former Ultimate Fighter winner destroyed women’s flyweight fighter Ravena Oliveira with a second-round submission (rear-naked choke). Miller, who came into this weekend just 1-3 in her last four trips to the Octagon, really needed to put on a good performance. Despite winning TUF back in 2022, Miller hasn’t done much for the promotion since then. Saturday was her chance to show out against a beatable opponent in Oliveira, who was riding a three-fight losing streak. As expected, Miller relied heavily on her wrestling and grappling in the early going. She was able to gain top control and put Oliveira on the defensive for the majority of the first round. Miller continued her dominance in the second round, but this time around a takedown allowed her to take Oliveira’s back. From there, Miller worked for the rear-naked choke finish and never looked back. After her victory, Miller jumped on the microphone to talk about the destructive fires going on in Spokane, Washington. The former TUF winner was pretty emotional to say the least, especially with a big win in her back pocket.
