Roughly 450 family farms in Kentucky, Illinois, and Missouri have been flooded with millions of gallons of water since the construction of the Olmstead Lock and Dam on the Ohio River which was completed in 2018 — and has since stolen the livelihoods of multigenerational farmers in the heart of Trump country.
