Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw has been behind a lot of reputable UFC gaming news, and he’s reporting that EA Sports UFC 6 is expected to drop on June 19th, 2026 for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. While a PC port of the game is in development, it was never expected to release alongside the console versions and will arrive at a later date. EA Sports UFC 6 follows the trend of a new EA UFC game every three years. UFC 5 came out in October 2023, while UFC 4 came out in August 2020. News of UFC 6’s arrival has been imminent for a few months now, with UFC CEO Dana White recently telling streamer Adin Ross that there would be two cover fighters for this edition. When it comes to new features, there’s not a lot of news to go on. Media on site at UFC events have caught EA Sports camera crews doing motion capture scans for various fighters over the past year, so we can hope that more athletes have their own particular movements coded into the game. There’s quite a long wish list out there from fans of EA Sports UFC 5, including a better submission system, deeper career mode, and more comprehensive create-a-fighter tools. There’s a decent chance we could see a demo or beta for the new UFC game drop sooner rather than later, so stay tuned for that.
